The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the read more lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The support level developed for intervention encounters a read more large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all here shoppers and raise entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
